TEACHING

Based in Norwich, Norfolk - Zaira has always enjoyed passing on her passion for music to both young people and adults.
Lessons will be tailored to meet your specific needs - whether working towards examinations, audition preparation, acting through song or just singing for pleasure!
Although formally trained in classical singing, Zaira also has an extensive knowledge of musical theatre repertoire and techniques. Students will have the opportunity to be entered for exams with London College of Music (LCM), Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London.
Lessons prices are available upon request and will vary dependent on length of lessons and/or travel arrangements if necessary.
Many of Zaira's previous students have succesfully been accepted for further study in voice and performing arts at: Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Cheethams School of Music, Arts1 Sixth Form, Chichester University, DanceBox Studios and Theatre Works, Norwich City College, Norfolk Institute of Performing Arts and Access to Music. Students have also excelled in competitions and festivals such as West End Calling and the Norfolk County Music Festival as well as attaining roles in productions including the National Tour of Les Miserables, the West End production of Mary Poppins and the Norwich Pantomime.

Alongside teaching singing one to one, Zaira also acts as vocal coach for The Garage Performance Academy, Red Loft Theatre Company and is currently musical director of the Mundesley Community Choir. She also provide Music Theory classes working towards ABRSM qualifications. Zaira holds an up to date DBS and chaperone licence with Norfolk County Council as well as an Educare certificate in child protection and current first aid training. She is also a member of the ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians) and AOTOS (Association of Teachers of Singing).
